This was the first book ever written by this author. In the 1960's he was
frequently annoyed by his mother who had been learning astrology for several years
from an accomplished astrologer. At that time, the author had a background
in celestial mechanics and astronomy, and his mother believed that he could become
a good astrologer.
The author finally became annoyed enough to do something about the problem. He agreed to read a book on astrology furnished by his mother. He believed that he could discover enough flaws in astrology to convince his mother that it was a complete waste of her time. This is not what happened. Instead, he found what astrology actually is (as compared to popular astrology) and that real astrology actually works.
In the ensuing six years, he tirelessly worked to discover why astrology worked, and to write about what he discovered. Finally, in 1974 he published his first book on the subject. The book is self-published, composed by means of a typewriter, and "spiral" bound. The binding is the best type for the book because it has numerous charts and graphs which need to be accessed when it is lying flat on a table or desktop. It is 281 pages in length and is broken into three sections. The content is timeless in that it will be valuable even hundreds of years in the future.
One chapter is devoted to computations which most astrology computer programs do today. It is the author's contention that an astrologer who cannot compute his or her own charts is severely handicapped when doing the chart interpretation. This fact seems to be more and more apparent as one reads more about the nature of the chart.
Because of the technical nature of the book and the limited number of copies available, we ask that you do not purchase a copy unless you are a serious astrologer with the ability to do math and read tables and graphs. Those of you who are dabblers in astrology might be able learn from this book, but would be lost in some parts of it. There are more copies of the book which succeeded this one, Astrology - The Music of Life. The casual astrologer would be more interested in this second book.

This book is a much expanded version of the first section of Astrology - The Cosmic
Stradivarius with much additional material in it. It is softbound with
illustrations, and is over 350 pages in length. It is a book for the serious
astrologer, yet most of it is not of a technical nature
and can be understood by almost anyone who practices or uses astrology.

In 1982, the author was asked to write a series of 52 small articles to educate people
regarding real astrology as opposed to popular astrology. These articles were
to be published weekly in two local newspapers for one year. The author agreed
and the
articles were published, aiding the circulation of the newspapers and generating a
number of complimentary letters to the editor. Subsequently, the articles were
syndicated and sold to a number of other newspapers.
In 1986, the author published the articles in a staple-bound, soft-cover book with the above title. This little book is 104 pages in length and includes illustrations. It is most appropriate for any reader who is interested in the subject of astrology.
